Venus, AKA Madam_V, was not only delighted to be out of her box but thrilled to attend a midsummer rehearsal dinner with a group of dear friends. For this event, she envisioned herself walking through a long Georgian corridor in a billowing skirt, and she had just the one: a black, white, and lemon swirling disco psychedelic billowing double-layered affair. Simply divine in soft faille, it placed everything perfectly with its 'slash to hip' detail.

She knew she needed little more than the skirt and an extra pin-on bouffant wig, but she couldn't forget her incredible organza jacket—lighter than air, delicate as a dragonfly, and impeccably tailored. The striped organza featured white and lemon burnout stripes trimmed with corded black rouleaux and a bow.

Despite the warm evening, she insisted on wearing yellow hose paired with white pom-pom stilettos in matte. She briefly considered a black wolf fur stole but ultimately decided against it.

In Venus's world, 'less is more' is a rare concept.

She could hardly wait to be seated and let her huge hair block everyone's view, especially that of the handsome father of the bride.
