Looking one-billion-pounds fabulous, she did not want to be among these people today.

DC™ chose to wear a two-piece suit of lurex, mirror and self-reflection. Not just any suit, but a prototype Couture suit — once destined for an elusive CW collection, now housed on her very body.

“Your purse, Your Majesty,” the coachman said as she dismounted the glimmering black patent leather coach.

“Leave it,” she replied. “I don’t intend staying long.”

Her freshly set violet-and-black colourway wig, drawn from our Atelier reserves, had a certain bounce as she strode past the dignitaries in her towering black stilettos at the parade-ground spectacle. With smouldering eyes of charcoal, yellow, sunshine and black, pierced by Venus green, everyone knew she had somewhere she would rather be.

She mouthed hello to her sisters with lips of burnt Bourguignon.

A “militant” jacket of military precision, deconstructed and held in place with mirrors, was cut in dual-colour dark red and black lurex, while her slashed-to-the-waist skirt was accented in the same two tones, making it perfectly clear where the split did not stop.

True to her word, with a nod of her head, the four-horse coach pulled up and whisked her away.
